Once you reach out to us, our office will contact you for an initial consultation either with Dr. Stalder, Dr. Lavie, or Dr. Rau. We’ll talk to you about what you’re hoping to achieve and discuss initial thoughts about what procedures might be most appropriate. We might also take measurements and photos to help our staff plan the best course of action. If you’re dealing with issues such as breast cancer, we’ll also take your oncologist’s information so we can coordinate, if necessary. While you’re here, we can start to discuss things such as cost and what might or might not be covered by your insurance provider.
Some procedures require an initial consultation, some measurements, scheduling the surgery itself, as well as follow-up appointments to ensure there are no complications. Other more complex procedures might require multiple consultations, multiple procedures, and several follow-up appointments. In some cases, such as certain types of breast reconstruction, we’ll need to do the work in stages with a second set of procedures several months after the first set has had time to heal. This is especially important for things like secondary and finishing procedures.
Your confidence and peace of mind are incredibly important to us, so we take the time to get to know every patient. Understanding your hopes, dreams, and lifestyle will help us put our talents to work in the way that has you looking and feeling your best.
